Il Barcamper in collaborazione con dpixel sta girando l’Italia per incontrare chi vuole sviluppare una startup nello spirito e con tecnologia ‘Maker’.

Questi scouter del nuovo millennio sono alla ricerca di idee e persone su cui investire e sono quindi interessati a sentire le vostre idee.

Il FabLab Pisa ospietrà la tappa Pisana del Barcamper che sarà presente presso il parcheggio della facoltà di ingegneria dalle 9:00 alle 18:00 del 30 Maggio.

Il FabLab Pisa non poteva mancare a questo evento e organizzerà quindi con il supporto dell’Univeristà di Pisa del prorettorato alla “ricerca applicata e all’innovazione” e di vari dipartimenti della Facoltà di Ingegneria varie dimostrazioni e mostrerà a tutti i progetti in corso.

Le 10 migliori startup selezionate dal tema del Barcamper avranno l’opportunità di presentare il proprio progetto in un TechGarage “maker edition” nel corso della prima Maker Faire Europea in programma a Roma dal 3 al 6 ottobre.

FACE Team as research team of Research Center E. Piaggio is actively involved in the European project CEEDs (The Collective Experience of Empathic Data Systems).

CEEDs is an European Commission FP7 funded project combining basic science research, technology innovation and high impact user research methods to develop a virtual reality based system to improve humans’ abilities to process information, and experience and understand large, complex data sets. CEEDs is organizing an event at Google Campus in London “Making sense of big data: placing the human experience at the centre of the solution” (info and registration here)

FACE Team and Research Center “E. Piaggio” will present a CEEDs show case  at Pisa Internet Festival (10-13 october 2013) more info soon….

Prof De Rossi will present FACE and the FACE Team activity Friday 23th November at Faculty of Engineering, University of Pisa.

FACETeam has been invited at the First International Workshop on Wide Spectrum Social Signal Processing  organized in Amsterdam in occasion of the  2012 ASE/IEEE International Conference on Social Computing (SocialCom 2012).
